With the design style utilized the Japanese sensitivity, he has been engaged in a wide range of lighting design and consultation, from residential and architectural lighting to urban and environmental lighting. He is also active as a lecturer about lighting design, a judge member, and a part-time lecturer of the university. He has received various awards for domestic and international, Illuminating Engineering Society of Japan, Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), and others.
